Before you ask for a quote
It helps to know three things: where the property is, roughly what you want done, and whether anything is time-sensitive (a leak, a sale, a permit deadline). Photos of the area are useful but not required.

The part people underestimate. Before anything gets built, someone has to work out the order of operations, what has to happen before something else can, and where the cost actually sits.
That is what a site visit is for: looking at real conditions, agreeing the scope in writing, and giving you a quote you can hold the work against.

Photos help a lot, particularly for roofing and damage. Describe the job in the quote form and mention that you have photos — we will tell you where to send them.
Do you work on residential and commercial properties?
Both. Residential work makes up most of it, along with smaller commercial spaces.
