General contracting and renovation services in Scarborough

Four areas of work, plus the planning that holds a project together.

NK General Contracting takes on practical renovation and property-improvement work for homeowners and property owners across Scarborough, Toronto and the GTA. Scope varies job to job — the quote request is where we work out exactly what yours involves.

Before you ask for a quote

It helps to know three things: where the property is, roughly what you want done, and whether anything is time-sensitive (a leak, a sale, a permit deadline). Photos of the area are useful but not required.

01 — Roofing & exterior

Roofing and exterior upgrades

Roof work is where a small problem gets expensive fastest. NK handles re-roofing and roof renovation on houses, garages and porches, along with the exterior work that goes with it.

  • Re-roofing and roof replacement
  • Garage and porch roof projects
  • Steel roofing and metal panel installation
  • Exterior cladding and property upgrades

02 — Interiors

Interior renovations

Renovating inside an occupied property is as much about sequencing and tidiness as it is about the build. We work room by room or across a whole floor, coordinating the trades a job needs so you are not managing them yourself.

Every interior project is scoped individually — tell us what you are picturing and we will tell you what it takes to get there.

03 — Outdoor

Outdoor property improvements

Work outside the walls that changes how a property is used and how it looks from the street.

  • Stone walkways and hard landscaping
  • Pond and water-feature remodels
  • General exterior property improvements

04 — Specialty finishes

Specialty decorative finishes

Seamless applied finishes for walls, fireplaces, counters and floors — the kind of surface you cannot get from paint or tile.

  • Microcement
  • Venetian plaster
  • Roman clay
  • Decorative and textured wall finishes

These finishes are applied by hand in layers, so samples and a conversation about the look you want come before any quote.

05 — General contracting

Project planning and general contracting

The part people underestimate. Before anything gets built, someone has to work out the order of operations, what has to happen before something else can, and where the cost actually sits.

That is what a site visit is for: looking at real conditions, agreeing the scope in writing, and giving you a quote you can hold the work against.

Questions

Before you get in touch

What types of projects do you take on?

Roofing and exterior upgrades, interior renovations, outdoor property improvements, and specialty decorative wall finishes. Projects that cross several of those at once are common.

Do you provide quotes?

Yes. Send your project details through the quote form or call, and we will arrange to look at the work before pricing it.

What areas do you serve?

NK General Contracting is based in Scarborough and works across Toronto and the wider GTA. If you are not sure whether your address is covered, ask.

Can I send project photos?

Photos help a lot, particularly for roofing and damage. Describe the job in the quote form and mention that you have photos — we will tell you where to send them.

Do you work on residential and commercial properties?

Both. Residential work makes up most of it, along with smaller commercial spaces.
